The library will be open for viewing and sharing on the first weekend of Lent, Feb. 17th. Please don’t take more than one or two items at a time. Hope you have been looking through your book shelves for donations by Catholic authors. The library would be grateful if you have any children’s Catholic literature or readings in the Spanish language. It would also be nice to have some volunteers to help keep the library table tidy. Lent begins on Wednesday, February 14th. You can get ashes on Ash Wednesday as well as Valentines! Easter Sunday is April 1st. Because the Lenten and Easter seasons are so early this year, the Spring Scripture Program will not begin until after Easter Sunday. (The particular dates have not been chosen yet.) Our study will focus on St. Paul’s Letter to the Philippians. The details of the program will be published in the Chimes in a few weeks. Save the weeks of the Easter season if you are interested in the Scripture Program.
