BOY SCOUT TROOP 923 WILL BE SELLING CHRISTMAS WREATHS THIS YEAR! They will be taking orders after Masses during the weekends of October 19th & 20th as well as October 26th & 27th. The wreaths will be delivered after the Masses the weekend of November 23rd and 24th. All proceeds go to help send the boys to summer camp next July at Owassipe in northern Michigan
VOLUNTEERS are needed at our Cicero office for substitute and on-call hours for our lobby reception area; to sort donated items and assist clients in our Family Room; help with mailings and baby bottle projects; bi- lingual who are conversational in Spanish to help in special area as well as volunteers to help with baby furniture donations. SEEKING DONATIONS of 5 infant car seat/carriers;, 4 high chairs, 6 baby carriers, 4 exersaucers and 3 baby swings. Beginning on October 6th, we will be participating in the Baby Bottle Project benefitting The Women’s Center of Greater Chicagoland. This non-profit organization directly assists mothers and families experiencing crisis pregnancies by offering emotional, financial, material and spiritual support through counseling, clothing and monetary provisions, prayer and other aid. Each year the three locations together have over 5,000 appointments with expecting mothers. By God’s Grace, The Women’s Centers have saved almost 40,000 babies, and their mothers, from abortion since opening in 1984.
