Dear Friends in Christ,

It’s official – a new parish in West Ridge area was established. Our new parish is temporarily called Ss. Timothy, Henry and Margaret Mary Church. I hope that in a very near future we will have a permanent name for our new parish. As members of the same parish, let us greet one another with Christian love. Especially, let us welcome and congratulate Father Arthur Bautista, a newly ordained priest of Jesus Christ. We pray that God's abundant grace will be over his life of service to God’s people.

Undoubtedly, there will be surprises and changes. Yet we firmly believe that with God's help and hearts open to one another, working in God’s name and for God's Kingdom, our parish will be a vibrant community of many true witnesses of Christ and God’s love. In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus says,

“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” (Matthew 11:25-30)

It is very clear that when we come to God, we will be strengthened, comforted, we will have peace and joy. With firm faith, together we dedicate our parish to God. May God help us to live according to His will. We also commend ourselves and our families to God - asking God to keep us all in His loving arms.

We also remember and pray for our ancestors who died in the Lord's peace. And, in a special way, we remember in our prayers the priests and those who have served and worked hard to build our parishes and keep up our churches.

Through the intercession of Mary, our Blessed Mother, Saints Timothy, Henry and Margaret Mary, may the Lord abundantly pour His blessings upon each member of our parish.
