Cleanse our hearts, Child Jesus, to shine as thine
Dwell in this temple’s heart, dwell within mine
Be with us, Holy Child, console us in our days
Make our paths straight, help us amend our ways
Gird us with the armor to ward off the foe
Grant us grace to bear our crosses, guide us to grow
Help us live out the Word, incarnate in you
Through the intercession of Mary, St. Joseph, and the Spirit of Truth
Pray for us Santo Niño, Divinity in youth!

Monday, October 19 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Change is one of the only constant things in our lives. But sometimes the stressors associated with change can interfere with our ability to cope, or to transition to a new level of healthy functioning.

Join us, via Zoom, for an online workshop and discussion on this topic. The facilitators are Parish Counselor Mike McCauley and Art Blumberg, who co-chairs the Holy Child Jesus Parish Unification Committee.

Specific topics may include:

  • coping with isolation and loneliness during the COVID-19 outbreak
  • the grief that follows personal loss and other life transitions
  • the stressors associated with parish reorganization through Renew My Church
  • pathways toward building resilience in the face of change

This workshop and discussion will be available via Zoom teleconferencing for anyone who has a computer with a good working camera. To join the meeting at 7:00 pm on Monday, October 19, please click on the following link: Those who wish to participate by phone can join us by dialing 312-626-6799. When asked for a Meeting ID, please enter: 917 5103 7460. For more information, please contact Mike McCauley at 773-234-4640.

Dear Friends in Christ,

We are pleased to announce that ABC-7 Chicago will continue to broadcast Cardinal Cupich’s Sunday morning Mass from Holy Name Cathedral at 9:30am for the remainder of 2020. We would like to thank Wintrust Bank for providing generous sponsorship to bring this Mass directly to your home. Online masses are also available on the Archdiocese of Chicago’s website at:

We know that this has been a difficult time for you all, most particularly those in our community at highest risk, and we are so thankful to be able to provide spiritual nourishment to you at home.
