“But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift…to equip [us] for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God…to the extent of the full nature of Christ…living the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:7, 12-15).” Holy Child Jesus Parish may be the most ethnically and culturally diverse parish in the Archdiocese of Chicago. We celebrate what makes each of us unique. We further celebrate that we are together in one house, as one family, in…
A number of parishioners have received texts or emails that are supposed to be from Fr. Phi. The messages say that Fr. Phi needs to get some funds to a family that is in trouble and asks the person receiving the message to buy gift cards and send Fr . Phi the gift card numbers so he can get them to the family. THIS IS A SCAM! No priest or member of the staff will EVER ask a parishioners to purchase gift cards. If you receive this message, please ignore it and alert the rectory office (773) 764-0615.
When God Whispers “You don’t need to shout. My hearing works just fine.” Are you a parent that has used that one on your kids? Wrap your arms around our world and hold us in your love. Allow us, at this time of trial, to then serve as instruments of that love to all we meet. We ask this…

We have recently seen a decline in the number of reservations, especially for the Sunday 10:00 a.m. Mass. Although Mass attendance remains high and we welcome everyone’s presence, we strongly rely on our reservation system to help us plan our seating which still remains limited. We ask that everyone makes a reservation for every Mass that you plan to attend. If you attend every week, please make a reservation for every week. Please do not rely on the list that we keep for walk- ins. Please sign up for masses and follow the prompts for signing up for Mass. If…
