Parishioners couldn't come to SMM for Easter Sunday so the parish came to the parishioners.

I had requested parishioners ahead of time to e-mail me their addresses. I would then go around on Easter Sunday afternoon to bring an Easter Basket and bless the family's home with the Blessed Sacrament. The baskets were prepared and handled taking every precaution possible in order to keep parishioners safe. Inside each basket was also a little vial of water that was blessed at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night.

There were 50 parishioners who responded so each one received a visit. I only wished that I could have gone to every single home of every parishioner but I only had 50 baskets and one afternoon to make the rounds. Still, it was a way to help people feel the joy of Easter and remain connected to their spiritual home.
